“Life” diciptakan tanggal 14 Januari 2008, berkisah tentang kehidupan yang penuh dengan proses & misteri hari esok. Progresi kord lagu ini terinspirasi dari seorang teman ARCHIE, bernama Satrio (Achyandra Swandana Satriaji) sewaktu jamming. Aransemennya didominasi oleh permainan doubled-backing vocal dan petikan jari sebagai rhythm guidance ditambah piano dan sedikit flute & string. Archie mengarang lagu ini semasa perpindahan jurusan kuliahnya di tahun 2008.

I read this tale from this link. And I think you all should also read this good story about the battle of the wolves within.

The Wolves Within

An old Cherokee chief is teaching his grandson about life: 

“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.”

“One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.”

“The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.”

“This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”

The old chief simply replied, “The one you feed.”

They say what is the process of songwriting? And I can’t really give a clear and coherent answer because it’s still a mystery to me, even though I’ve written a hundred of songs.

I don’t really know how I do it. But one method I favor in the past decade, is to finish the music first.

I have a theory, if you structure music correctly, it’s already telling you a story. It has a narrative, an abstract narrative.”
